Items accepted include:

Garbage: one single bag (max 30 lbs per bag) = $2.50 or one coupon

Other items: furniture, tires, appliances, metal = see attendant

$.075 per pound of non-recyclable refuse in excess of 30 pounds of weight

NOTE: at certain times you may be directed to place all recycle materials in one receptacle. This is called "single stream recycling". Some customers have raised concerns that crushed glass will contaminate cardboard and paper, rendering the entire load useless. Rest assured that recycling technology has become so advanced that all of the plastic, glass and paper products are extracted, and these containers do not go to the landfill. Single Stream Recycle is typically employed only at peak usage times when the single attendant on duty simply cannot keep up with the volume of customers going to the separate recycle containers.
